Cheryl started dancing at a young age studying Ballet & Jazz. At the age of 7 her parents gave her the choice of continuing with either dance or music & she choose music (though if you ask Cheryl, the real reason she quit Ballet/Jazz was because she couldn’t do cartwheels which were going to be in an upcoming routine). Cheryl then gained some experience in Musical theatre dance as a cast member of a production of the Producers in 2010.

In 2014, Cheryl moved to Hobart & took the opportunity to start learning Ballroom. She fell in love with the art form and hasn’t looked back since. She has completed several medal examinations in Modern Ballroom & Latin American. Cheryl enjoys the different challenges involved with learning how to both lead and follow, always striving to learn as much as possible while having tonnes of fun.

Cheryl enjoys a large number of crafty/creative hobbies, and it’s not unusual to see her knitting away between dances. Don’t ask her what her favourite dance is, as she couldn’t possibly just choose one.
